No no, they’ve got a good point there, the spider staff becomes extremely viable especially on The Constant world seed where you have surface spider caves.
I found it easy to obtain one and skipping the blade staff seemed more viable.

But you aren’t skipping any of those to get Spiders. Abigail you already have, and Blade and Sanguine are both later in progression. This image doesn’t work
