If you use mods I recommend luiafk for wiring. It has a bunch of items that combine a bunch of other items and in general there are a ton of convenient things, some might be a bit op but but can just be ignored

Presserator makes sense, but I don’t see Actuation Rod combining very well into Grand Design, they’re used very differently
