

Got the lime leaves, bird's eye chili, a little bit of shimeji, and twice as much shrimp, plus bonus fresh water chestnuts. Still had to sub in lemon zest/juice and ginger, but still delicious.
The lime leaves are crazy aromatic, the chilis more background lingering burn, the mushrooms tender and subtle, but somehow the combo is an overwhelming symphony of yum.

Also fresh water chestnuts are so much nicer than canned, they’re sweet and fruity and extra crisp
Tom kha and Tom yum are two of my favorite dishes! Extra spicy please!
