I highly recommend it! My bf got it for me for my birthday. I have been playing stardew for a little over a year now and i had no idea there was a board game. Its very fun with just two players. I wasn't sure how a board game about such an immersive video game would be, but it works:) If you're on the fence about it, definitely jump in!

I am also a lover of the board game!! It’s so fun, definitely think it’s better/easier with more players though
I always found it too hard to try to get everything done in a year. Maybe I am playing it wrong?

I enjoy the board game, it’s a little complicated and long to set up and get going though. I think the first time I played it with a few others it took us like 4 hours to complete. So it was a pretty long experience. Lots of moving parts but it was fun for sure!
Got it for my bestie on her birthday last weekend and we spent hours playing it. It’s fabulous! Takes up real space though, be warned.

Its really fun, I’ve played it through I think 3 times, its not a game I’d go back to again and again but I’m glad its in my collection and I enjoyed it!
How hard is it to play with kids? We have it unopened and keep meaning to look into it!
