so i was caving for like 2 hours and thought "man this is kinda depressing" and then my brain went "what if it literally was"
you now have a happiness meter that drains in the dark and restores in sunlight. stay underground too long and you start getting slowness and mining fatigue because you just… don't want to do anything. it actually made me start placing torches instead of sprinting through darkness like a gremlin
but that's just annoying if there's no counter so i added happiness ore. pink/purple crystals that spawn like coal. mine it, smelt it into pills, eat pill, instantly feel better. i unironically bring these caving now like they're golden apples
mood levels:
- euphoric (90+): speed + haste, you're zooming
- normal: nothing happens
- sad: slowness + mining fatigue
- depressed: slowness II, mining fatigue II, weakness. rough
oh and you can give pills to villagers and they give you diamonds back. they're really grateful apparently : ) )

Should make the colors slowly fade to monochrome as time goes on, then the pills made things more vibrant than normal, and repeat
If the display gets too monochrome, then it will start to slowly fade to black, and eventually you black out and… Become a ghost i guess
