Mojang please let us enchant horse armor with feather falling or protection, or give them a higher base resistance to fall damage. Granted, my horse was on the lower end for base health, but being only a 38 block fall I still think she still should have survived the fall given she had Netherite armor on.
EDIT: in hindesight, 38 blocks is far, doesnt feel so far when looking at the cave, but I still think horses should either get access to protection/feather falling enchants or have a higher base fall damage resist.
