FTB Evolution – Statues Mod & Mob Grinding Utils

Hey folks,

I'm trying to get turtle scute (a surprisingly difficult loot drop). I've got the mob grinding death chamber courtesy of Mob Grinding Utils, and I made a turtle statue to increase the drop chances (10% base for scute). The question is, does anybody know if Statues works with MGU? i.e. if I turn on the death wall (all have Looting 6) will the statue help boost the chances of getting scute or is there an easier way that I'm missing?
