Spark Notes:

LAVA. USE LAVA. YOU CAN MAKE AN INFINITE LAVA GENERATOR AND GET INFINITE FUEL SO YOU DON’T HAVE TO USE COAL.

How to make an infinite lava source:

I just use blaze rods or coal blocks from a wither skelly farm to fuel all my smelting needs.

  2. Can only smelt 100 items per bucket though… blaze farm and then 64 rods in the furnace cooks 768 😎

I got like. 6 or 7 if these by my auto smelter. I can now actually use my coal for torches instead of the endless stone that I need to fire ( <— addicted to building with Cobb Brick)

chopping down a whole forest to make charcoal while contributing to the climate change >>>>

Charcoal is my go to. Especially if I have a mod like falling trees installed

  6. Ok but I need coal blocks for decorating at least that’s why I’m short on coal

I just use charcoal. There was an island next to my 2018 base (8 years ago btw) and I just planted and cut down trees there and smelted all of the wood. And the excess saplings were shoved inside the “newly released” composter because I thought it was cool and not just another way to get bonemeal

I was 8 years old btw… Wait I’ve played Minecraft for half of my life… Oh god

  8. The only negative about it is that you can automate it because you can’t collect the lava from cauldrons with a bucket inside a dispenser

  9. you have coal shortage because you cant find coal ores

i have coal shortage because im building a giant pyramid out of coal ores

    we are not the same

  10. It’s a bit expensive but I always make massive lava farms for this reason. Let’s me save my coal for torches

In general nonrenewable fuel sources are stupid for anything beyond starting out. There’s a reason why charcoal can be made and fits in any crafting recipe that would normally use coal.
