So I’ve had java for around 4 years, never had bedrock. Today i was gonna launch it only to see I don’t have it anymore??? and now I can install bedrock?? i didn’t do a single thing, but I’ve got bedrock somehow now and lost java,,,, how the hell do i fix this??? is this a common thing???

exact thing happened to me like 15 mins ago. just opened and closed the launcher like 5 times and it fixed it
I logged out and logged in and it fixed it. Glad I’m not the only one it happened to.
That JUST happened to me minutes ago, and here’s my tips:
Close everything you’re using right now, then open your Microsoft store and Xbox app on PC, in order to verify id your account is active.
Then, open Minecraft Again through it’s launcher (make sure to download if you don’t have it already.)
If that doesn’t work, I recommend restarting your PC, rinse and repeat through Microsoft Store and Xbox, before opening launcher.
