To be fair, the less-yellow earth looks kinda nice.
But using even the same house sprite is kinda lame.

If I have to sit through another ai slop “Top Heros: Kingdom Saga” ad I am going to lose it

Clearly it works, they’ve got you out here spreading their ad for them and for free

No, Concerdenape can sue them.

No but things like this don’t continue to exist long enough for the legal machine to work. They aren’t trying ro game make that people want to play, they’re making games for people to download/sign up for so they can gather data they can sell. The actual games probably don’t even function.

no but the don’t care.

No. Those assets belong to CA.

No, but games like this are always operating out of jurisdictions where it’s challenging to take legal action, and if you do, another company doing it will pop up. It’s like the fashion industry trying to fight counterfeit designer products – you can take down one company making counterfeits, but a new one will just open up if you do.

Coral island is a stardew clone as well. They even have a monkey mascot (dont remember the name)

A lot of these games aren’t even real games. You see the ad and the actual game are completely different, it doesn’t matter. Once you sign up and give them all your info they sell that info and your phones model and information and then move on to the next app

There’s many stardew clones most don’t make it, some change enough and branch a new style but are still almost identical. Coral Island is doing very well as it’s like a clone but developed in unreal engine but same game. I also liked Little Known Space that was a fun clone with some decent differences.

I remember I used to get ads for some shitty mobile game a long time ago and the ads were literally just screenshots from total war medieval 2. These people dgaf.

Shitty fake mobile game makes add with ripped content and art->they make some money->rightful owners eventually find out and demand it be taken down->they take it down and leave with the quick buck

Data gathering fake game, made in some country where CA’s lawyers have no jurisdiction. Legal or not, theres nothing anyone can do about it.
