**Title:** 18M, landowner, financially stable, still maidenless???
Ok so I’m an 18 y/o dude in rural Maine.
Pros:
• Full set of teeth (apparently that’s rare around here idk)
• Patriotic 🇺🇸
• Claimed government land like a gigachad
• Cleared 18 acres last year myself
Farm stats:
• Buckwheat: absolutely popping off
• Oats & potatoes: thriving
• Livestock: 9 sheep, 1 bull, 2 heifers
• Property: house + barn
So basically I’m not broke and the farm is doing great.
My life goal rn is simple:
I want a wife.
Like I want to buy her nice things — dresses, skirts, cute stuff — and just live our cottagecore prairie life together.
Problem is…
I have **zero rizz.**
No idea how to talk to women.
No idea where to meet them.
No idea how people even get married.
Any advice appreciated.

I honestly think this speaks volumes about the current world, and just how privileged we are.
Today we think about romantic love, and base our dating and marriage decisions on that. In 1865 it was honestly a business transaction. Like is freaking hard, and this guy has his stuff together. He won’t beat me, and we can be a productive unit.
There is something really cool about this, but I’m also very glad that my nieces need concern themselves with how many sheep a prospective suitor might have.
