I feel like alot of modpacks tend to reveal everything right from the start making progression through it actually harder, cause there's no clear progression path. What Y'all think?

I think, as for everything in life, it’s best to keep a balance. I like the way stoneblock 4 did it – your main progression line is gated, but you have dozens upon dozens of other various quests to keep yourself engaged in the meantime

  2. all quests visible. I think I would genuinely prefer torture over gated quest visibility. It’s a small thing that will instantly make me quit a modpack

Gated. I need a guide because I WILL use my ADHD to its finest and never complete a pack if I can see and prep for everything

  4. Mixed. I’d prefer to have full main quest root tree that gates other pages of fully visible quest branches.

  5. Gated – I cant play ATM cause I get overwhelmed by the quests and menus. Gated progression is good cause you know where you are based on where you were previously.

Theres too much to keep track of when its all at once

Visible, when i play a modpack i want to know if its a 30, 300 or 3000 hour modpack, quests tell me those things very straight foward, if you hide them i will just /ftbquests editing_mode true to see them anyways, hiding them is stupid
