Etsy has become a dumpster fire of ai, especially with Etsy’s unwillingness to do anything about it like requiring a disclaimer. It’s even worse in the crafting area like knitting and embroidery patterns, so many people buying impossible designs generated and sold in bulk from some untraceable ‘seller’ who claims to usually be in Canada/US to look legit (usually using some generic woman’s name and picture) but instructions will be in a different language. It goes against everything Etsy stood for years ago of real people selling real crafts and items, and supporting small businesses.
