As a console user, I usually use Stardew Planner with Scarecrows set to highlight radius so I can get a visual.
Usually I wind up counting tiles too so I can place the Scarecrow EXACTLY where I have it in the Stardew Planner and put some kind of flooring so I don’t accidentally dislodge it while hoeing.
