I'm running into an issue with my Cobbleverse modpack where anything that affects ocean depth doesn't work. In this case, I'm using Tectonic, but the Deeper Oceans mod also failed to make any changes when I was troubleshooting possible conflicts. The top screenshot shows an ocean where Tectonic, Terralith, and Biomes O' Plenty all run together and manage to do what I'm looking for, while the bottom screenshot shows how the deep oceans keep generating in my modpack with the same settings (minimum Y -256, ocean depth -1, deep ocean depth -2).
The minimum Y setting definitely works, so I know some parts of Tectonic are getting through, it's just that something is overriding any changes I try to make to the oceans' depth. The only thing I could find that touched the ocean in other configs was a biome replacer that changed Terralith's sky island biomes into deep ocean variants.
Hoping I'm just overlooking something obvious, I've been generating worlds for days trying to narrow down the issue and trying compatible alternatives.

My modlist since that seems important: [https://pastebin.com/9HJ1LSEK](https://pastebin.com/9HJ1LSEK)
Maybe continents? I think tectonic has a similar feature making it redundant
Tectonic probably isn’t the thing overriding it. If both Tectonic and Deeper Oceans fail, I’d start stripping the worldgen stack back and testing from clean.
Make a fresh test world with just Tectonic first. If oceans look right there, add Continents, Terralith, TerraBlender, and the replacer back one at a time until it breaks again. That’ll tell you which mod is flattening or replacing the ocean generation after Tectonic runs.
Try without Terralith, i got the same problem with it and without it it ran pefectly fine.
