I made a web tool that allows you to create a simple resource pack that changes the color of your enchantment glint. I have already seen people make a few packs with static roygbiv colors but I wanted full control over what shade of purple I could have so I decided to make it myself. The tool is free to use and works for java editions 1.19.4 to 1.21.11. I plan to implement additional versions in the future.
EDIT: I interpreted vanilla as being able to use something without downloading a new launcher / curseforge. My bad for the confusion.

Thatβs not vanilla lol

Vanilla is data packs. Not texture packs. There’s a small difference.
This is pretty cool!! I’d totally use this!
People arguing what is a vaniilla but anyway I think this is cool tool!
Perfect! Id been wanting something like this, as theres so few enchantment glint texture packs and non of them are the color i want.
Can you add a glint speed slider too? Its hard to see what itll look like when its going so fast. Maybe there could also be options to preview it on different materials
I swear vanilla tweaks could already do this
I never knew people thought “vanilla” meant absolutely nothing besides base game. I’ve always played “vanilla” with texture packs. No actual gameplay changes with a texture pack, just the visual. I’m also a modded player, so that’s where the distinction lies for me, there’s modded and vanilla.

The comments saying this isn’t vanilla are people with the same IQ as people complaining mojang doesnt add enough updates or calls any addition to the game too modded
I love you and hope you find a hundred dollar bill (or your currencyβs equivalent)
This is 100% a vanilla thing, I don’t get why everyone else is freaking out.
I feel datapacks teeter on vanilla/modded, and mods are… Well, obviously not vanilla. But resource packs? Do people think resource packs aren’t vanilla?
