I have a small modpack centered around Twilight Forest for a group of friends, and I want to add a little bit of magic to the adventure in the Twilight, but I'm worried that, since every progress of Iron Spell is in the overworld, the players could simply grind OP spells and then go into Twilight, which would make the bosses too easy
Because from what I see (correct me if I'm wrong), Iron Spell progression is based on exploration, so naturally it's centered around finding structures on the overworld, I guess that makes things difficult to integrate with Twilight since they are not correlated with each other
I don't know a lot about the Iron Spell mod, so I need help/ideas on what could be interesting to the players so the progression into magic does not spoil the boss fights

Something like locking the spell tier you get behind the normal progression of Twilight Forest. You have access to uncommon and common spells at the start but after you kill the Lich it you can start getting rares for example. There is also the anvil (forgot what it called) that lets you upgrade the level of your spell using ink. Level 3 Uncommon Firebolt + 1 Uncommon ink lets you make level 4 Uncommon Firebolt. You can lock that one behind progression too.
Check out Enigmatica 9. It gates Ars spells behind twilight progression, might give you some ideas.
Lootr might be your answer? it has the ability to add loot tables to other structures chests, IIRC.
There’s an integration mod between the two if i remember correctly.
A simple way to do it would be to just make the Twilight Forest really hard so that grinding out Iron’s Spells in the overworld is necessary.
