I’m want to try building with some peoples least favorite blocks and see what I can come up with. I’m trying to expand my block pallets and getting more comfortable with building with blocks I don’t normally use and feel like this challenge will be more fun then just doing it.

My least favorite block is the Waxed Lightly Weathered Cut Copper Stairs. Lightly Weathered copper just doesn’t look good, and the Waxed Lightly Weathered Cut Copper Stairs doesn’t even have the upside of eventually weathering into fully weathered Copper.
Smooth Basalt is my favorite, not for any particular building purpose, but rather because the clustering on the texture sprite is gorgeous. Easily my favorite item in the game from a pixel art perspective. Jappa cooked so hard.
I don’t like sand. It’s coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.

This might be odd but concrete. I don’t use them and they’re so much effort to make.
That fully oxidized WAXED copper block, why is it waxed when it can oxyzide any further?
The answer is birch. While there may be uglier blocks at face value, those blocks still fill a niche that’s not accomplished by other blocks. But fucking birch can be replaced by pretty much any other block and look better. Like you could spend 10 hours making the most beautiful birch structure and if you changed it to any other block it’d look better.
