Fall 18. It's raining. Welwick said I'm very lucky today. It's my neighbor Marnie's birthday and I got her annual pink cake, so I thought I'd hand Marnie her present before she gets her annual exam at the clinic. That way, I'd get to spend some time with my beloved Maru, as well.
But lo and behold, this is what I walk into. I'm soaked from the rain outside and I see Dr. Harvey engaging in PDA with my wife right at the reception area. She had the audacity to greet me "Hi, honey ❤️".
We've been together for a year, married for two months. We have a one-month old daughter at home. I have a great relationship with her family. Every day, the first thing I do after waking up is to give her something she loves — be it her favorite food or stuff for her inventions — then I kiss her three times before starting my day. I love her and I thought she loved me. I should have known in the first spring when I asked her at the flower dance but she refused and danced with Harvey instead.
I'm just trying to process this. I'm working my ass off, splitting my time between two islands, trying to get my ancient wine business up and running. Maybe it's my absence that pushed Maru to seek solace in the arms of another man. After all, I'm barely there for her and our kid.
I will likely divorce her. I just hope it doesn't gravely affect my relationship with her parents and half-brother. I'll make sure I get our daughter in the divorce.

Seriously though, I’ve been playing on and off for 8 yrs and this is the first time I noticed this 😭
Listen, don’t jump to the worst case scenario. You have a solid enriching life with this woman, it would be terrible to just throw it away over a misunderstanding.
Maybe she was choking? Surely as a doctor Harvey would be trained to perform the Heimlich Maneuver. The fact that she was able to lovingly greet you even while facing the grim specter of Death is only a sign of Maru’s intense commitment and love for you.
OMG THIS IS WILD
This is both tragic and hilarious. Maybe Harvey was just giving your wife a lumbar epidural injection… or a *back shot.*
