I was really struggling against Apolo and Artemis because of that, and i didn't even thought or knew about the destroyer thing so i literally was there only being able to hit them when they went through me or when they made their desperate attacks (Artemis being the most rewarding) and the same happened with scal
    I was just waiting spinning the thing around until she dashes or she stays for a moment instead of moving to my rythm

  2. tbh they need to make exo mechs less ass for true melee. just make apollo and artemis do their dash or laser more often so the fight doesnt take 10 minutes. but i’m not sure if the rod of discord could help to attack them i havent tried it in a while

  3. To be fair, cheating in runs like this is absolutely fine when you encounter bullshit like scal and exomechs, they are annoying to deal with in usual runs, but in true melee… games are for own enjoyment, and i doubt 80% of people will find enjoying this

  4. i think using the basic attack instead of the spin can make short work of the eyes, just the plunge is good enough to hit them and im saying this as someone who , for some reason, deal with all three of them at once ( im pretty sure that wasn't supposed to happen but maybe messed up something with the mods, i dont know)
