As someone who is also obsessed with living wood and leaf wands… if you dont find them in living trees… you can find them by knocking trees in the forest with your axe. Like a single chop without chopping down the tree. Can take a while though. Also putting your money in a chest before having a piggy bank can keep them safe temporarily. You can't use them to buy directly from the chest though so a piggy bank is better. Oh and the dungeon spawns on the snow biome side. Just some tips from someone who is also terrible at playing the game 😂😂
