Why is my Sniffer always running to the corners of the room? I saw it went to the right corner, I broke the blocks it was standing on, I followed it for a bit and then it went to the left corner (it circled the whole room first). It hadn't dag up any seeds and it's been there for a while. Java 1.21.11 fabric.

Maybe a moss block somewhere?
Maybe it needs grass block for sniffing
Cus mobs always go to the highest possible area near them
It’s crying in a corner because Sniffers never should’ve been created
Get rid of the hill
First of all, almost all passive mobs tend to go higher or to the places that has more block in Y level (which is usually also higher places) and sniffers actually need more than one single layer of moss/dirt to sniff and dig out a seed. So, probably under is just stone and that corner has multiple layers of moss so it can sniff there
