Imo they could’ve given the feature to the already existing slime and made something more interesting for the biome

Another lackluster update

It’s really cool and genuinely a good feature, but I’m kinda disappointed because I was hoping for something impactful to survival (that’s on me though). We also finally got new building blocks!

Cool for mini games but compared to what we have gotten recently I’m kinda underwhelmed. The new things are cool but this seems like yet another feature people won’t really use that much.

Feels like an aprils fools snapshot.

Imma be fr, the whole gimmick is funny and stuff
But what’s the utility? I know they gonna show more stuff but on paper they just added really few things…
harpyja7 on
it’s alright, but i really don’t see any use for it outside of minigames for multiplayer
i doubt i’m ever using it

Another passive mob with zero drops and yet another block set thats probably unrenewable. yippee.
Mojang make actually engaging features you wont forget about a week later challenge (IMPOSSIBLE)

I like the idea of sulfur caves, and the cubes are a cool concept
It PROBABLY could’ve been done with something else, but I like it so far

It’s cool but it shouldn’t be the highlight of an entire update.
When I saw new pools of mysterious liquid, I was intrigued… until I realized there is nothing dangerous or new about them. (besides the new particle effect)

I think the caves are neat, but still could use work (obviously this isn’t finalized).
The Sulphur Cube is… very pointless for me at least. I can guarantee I will never interact with it in my survival world’s

– The caves are horrible
– They added sulfur and its literally does nothing. A decorative block. Not even dust.
– The mob is a minigame gimmick that adds nothing to the game whatsoever.
– If you get into the water it gives you nausea?
There are so many things you could do with sulfur. Better TNT, new alchemy (maybe take the opportunity to rework it and improve the system), an actual interesting mob, biome hazard conditions like it being poisonus and you needing equipment to enter (like going underwater), some kind of elytra propulsion? And this is just out of the top of my head.
Horrible overall, not that I’m surprised.

Ok but I do think he looks kinda adorable tho

whole drop is so mid, I get it, smaller updates, small content. But wth is this???? 2 new blocks and variants, pools that legit do nothing except add a little ambiance and a mob that is only gonna be good in minigames.

I think they felt bad about people playing pool and golf with the little chicks, so they quickly made this, it’s a cool bonus to the sulfur caves and the great building blocks it has

Mojang always find a way to add an even more useless mob, even in the gameplay it looks extremely junky
Let’s hope Sulfur won’t get the Copper treatment and be only used for building block when it has plenty of uses in real life

Would have preferred something that people would actually use. I think most people will see this like twice and never again. I like the biome idea and the new blocks though.
Just think that surely there is something else they could’ve added to fit with the update more, as the gimmick of the sulfur cube seems weirdly disconnected from the biome, as if this is the sulfur cube update and they just had to make a new biome to try and make it fit with the game.
Not going to rag on it too much because I haven’t got to experience it hands on.

Like all other drops, these would be awesome side features in a bigger update but fall completely flat when that’s all we get

I love features that dont effect 90% of the community beacuse they are made purely for multiplayer run
On the positive side the new blocks are really goos

My son, my little cube child. I’m going to start a new world and I will build a grand garden to house the thousand CUBES OF WRATH I shall collect as pets. Naturally, there will be a roof and ice so I can bonk them all and sleep and relax to cube sound 10 hours

I don’t hate it, I have a very neutral opinion on it in all honesty. I’m more excited for the new blocks than anything.

Man. So, black smokers volcanic vents.
Like an upward pointed drip stone that releases the air equivalent of how soul sand bubbles work, but it’s used for flight boots with elytra.

Wish they come back to overhauling some old features instead of constantly adding something new.

Minecraft nowadays is more about gimmicks then producing actually desired content and this just shows that perfectly
