  1. They added fireflies though after rejection and this cube is a fantasy creature, not an irl animal

  2. i’ll make sure not to show this to my pet sentient blob of gelatinous sulfur irl because they exist in the real world

  3. “Coherent and logical as per usual” ITS A CUBIC MASS OF SULFUR JELLY, NOT AN ANIMAL😭

Insectkind to Mojang, we have found another complainer complaining about nothing.

  5. Except sulfur cubes can’t be killed by the player as long as they have a block inside of them.

Minecraft has become very lame and paternalistic around real world animals, Mojang needs to give up the shtick. It was one thing when it was educating people about like “parrots cant eat cookies, so you have to feed them seeds!” But like, it’s become so stupid when they refuse to add lions or sharks because “they don’t wanna put irrational fear on real life animals” as if everyone who plays Minecraft is five years old watching cartoons about quicksand.

It’s all based on bogus psychology from the “GTA will make your kid a school shooter” era. People aren’t gonna go out and club sharks because they got killed by one in Minecraft.

  7. Maybe actually hear what they say?

Because they said they don’t want to share misinformation about existing animals, they can do what they want with fictional one

Why Is this community so obsessed with fucking sharks? Oh no Mojang gave an original mob with a unique function, instead of making another generic neutral mob that wouldn’t add anything meaningful to the game how horrible
