Cucujus cinnaberinus (new mob theory)

Chiseled cinnabar (shown at Minecraft Live 2026) looks like it depicts some kind of insect with six or more legs. Most other chiseled blocks depict some kind of mob that is in the game. In 2018, one of the biome improvements that lost the vote was the termite, which would have been a new mob in the savanna biome. There is a type of bark beetle called “Cucujus cinnaberinus”, which is red (much like cinnabar) and lives inside trees. It is my theory that this might be replacing the original plans for the termite. Could this be an additional new mob that is planned for Chaos Cubed, which we will see in coming snapshots? Is my theory plausible?
