A lot of people complained that the sulfur cube didn't do anything for survival so here's my idea!
Sulfur cubes by themselves don't do anything. What if they were attracted to mobs and tried to jump on them and engulf the mob. After engulfing them you would be able to hit it around.
This would improve villager and mob transportation, which is an annoying problem at many times.
You could also use them to capture hostile mobs to display them or keep them for future use. (ps this obviously shkdnt work on big mobs)

That’s pretty cool , what if it works on the player too? The cube engulfs you and you have to hit it multiple times to get out , but during that time somebody else could launch you lmao.

Big ones should absorb mobs, medium ones blocks as already shown, and small ones items
They should just not exist
