The noteblocks are not encased in the sulfur cube in the trailer I doubt that mojang would make that a mechanic. It is more likely that the sulfur cube update is a completely different drop. They did add a new noteblock sound in Tiny Takeover so they might add some small feature in chaos cubed that ties in with the sculk dimension.
