I still hate Clint
Interesting video! I think you have a great sense of what could happen in the update.
I’m excited for Clint to perhaps start looking less like a creep, even platonically (I’m happily married to Emily on my first/current run, and have been for almost 3 years in-game, as I proposed literally on her birthday in year 2, when it rained and I was in the perfect position to buy a mermaid pendant first thing that morning).
Either way, seeing both Sandy and Clint perhaps get more character development seems like an interesting prospect to me!
Is anybody else getting mermaid energy from Sandy? Could she be a mermaid who made a deal with Mr. Qi?
people expect marnie to man her shop 24/7 but who else is buying cows, just one farmer
i believe in one heart event we will learn sandy's real name and in another one we get to have a valley experience, maybe about flowers, with her. maybe 14 will be about her getting a flower garden on the farm…
I am hoping that Clint gets a complete rewrite, removing any dialogue about Emily. That should have been done when she became romanceable. It makes him look like a creepy stalker. He doesn’t need a redemption arc, he needs a rewrite. And a glow up. There aren’t great feelings about him in the community and people will need to overcome that to give him a chance. I think his natural friends would be Marlon and Gunther. One buys weapons and the other is interested in minerals. I will be interested to see what CA does with him.
I think Clint is majorly misunderstood because people misinterpret one comment and one event. He is going to be wholly rewritten because he has to be.
He has 2 heart events, one is completely missable. People see his “I’m a nice guy when you get to know me!” He says while admitting his insecurities to the farmer. And then his missable event is when you find him in a bush watching Emily: He was planning to ask her out when Caroline showed up and he chickened out because he was too afraid to ask her when there was someone else there (you know- in case she said no.) people say he is stalking her. No, he openly states he is waiting for both of them to leave so he can go home.
His whole story is about his feelings for another person. He will absolutely need to he rewritten. This is CAs opportunity to do so.
Clint's new heart events will be about capturing and torturing you until you damn well appreciate his special shoes.
