Using Tables to Build an Arena! | Terraria Designing!
Hello everyone! Welcome back to a mini episode of the Terraria building series! This video is a sort of design video for my building playthrough! I've been dying for a cooler arena rather than just the layered platforms I will definitely take inspiration from this build/video

would be nice to see industrial arena. it would fit hardmode pretty well because of mech bosses and materials avaiable.

I experemented with arenas size for some time. It's optimal to place platform layers every 30 blocks and lamps, banners and campfires every 80 blocks. You can use it if you need to make boss fights feel more comfortable.
But most importantly enjoy your playtrough!
for an arena, you'll eventually want honey, monster banners, a campfire, heart lanterns, for Mage, star lanterns, and for those of us who are PvE challenged, heart statues hooked up to a timer. Just for a nice checklist. Awesome looking build so far 🙂
You know I'm glad that haven't got to my gladiatorial Coliseum in my world yet. I'll definitely take that chair technique. it'll fit well with my more "ruinous" variation that I have in mind. Thanks man!

Imagine if the hand of creation was an usable item and you could select an area like the photo mode and just copy it to build faster
NGL this is good, build materials seems fairly cheap and easy to get
ive actually always wanted an arena building video for my longer modded runs. This is gunna be some awesome motivation
I have a request/suggestion for a build idea. I've been using the molecart to make straight mineshafts across my zenith world.
I was wondering if you could do a cool looking repeatable design for a mineshaft that is the same height and width as what the cart excavates and includes the line of tracks.

Just for a point of reference in my arenas I space the platforms out by 32 blocks. I do this because hitting a platform seriously hinders your vertical movement speed. All those tables and layered platforms are going to get you killed. I would suggest making the spaces between the platforms wider and potentially actuating the bamboo platforms.
It may be too much and too difficult to acquire but what about marble? You could buy a bunch of bomb and make em sticky and bomb a marble biome, you’d have to find one though and not die getting there. May be to much but who knows?
