I guess he's halfway there with spamming the blocks, just a questionable choice of colors is all.

    A for effort!

You gotta be careful when you suggest stuff to them so that it’s as constructive as possible. Younger people have a hard time telling the difference sometimes especially kiddos.

You can do some test builds close to where they hang out and let it happen naturally. That way they can ask you what you’re doing on their own terms.

  2. Oh I think that’s pretty cool, it’s like a wooden cow print. Probably works well for a cow farm.

y’know what little bro’s onto something, add some white blocks in the palette and it can be ice cream

  4. You just don’t see it, its obviously a partially sheared pink sheep. This is more than a texture, this is a masterstroke.

Like someone else said it’s just palet choice! You should show him what a color palet is and how there are lots of different ones and art usually follows a set one/it allows flow.

Of course there are exceptions but this would probably help him see his mistake without you even having to point it out

He may have Tritanopia (blue color blindness) as it shifts the dark oak to look more pinkish. Could also just be kid stuff, idk
