I just did all the annoying stuff in journey mode. unlocked the events and then went into the cavern layer with 10x spawn rates and time progression turned off.

if you reach wave 15 of the pumpkin moon then the halloween event is enabled for the whole following day. If you go underground, you have a low chance of finding them, depending on if your already in hard mode. You can still find them in hardmode; they are just rarer because of all the hardmode skeleton variants clogging up the spawns, but it’s doable. I did it. Be warned, you might have to beat the moon multiple times. That’s what I had to do. i was already in hardmode so i had to beat the moon over and over again to refresh it.
**Edit: oops my bad i assume you already did this shit, dont worry its possible just very rare, it took me days irl to do it but it is doable**. **Also i didnt know about setting your computer time to Halloween.**

Journey mode helped a lot with this achievement. I had to camp a cavern biome with my PC clock set to Halloween with enemy spawn rate cranked to 10x. Still took like 45 minutes.

i changed my pc’s date to october and then launched the game through the files rather than steam and got them from farming
