I've been working on Modded Together for a while now, mostly solo. It's a 1.21.1 NeoForge exploration pack — magic, tech, combat, all in one. I know that sounds like every other modpack, so let me explain what's actually different.
Everything gates into everything else. Malum is your entry point into Ars Nouveau, and you need Create running before you can get Refined Storage set up. Alex's Mobs and Caves aren't just vibes — some drops and biomes are actual crafting requirements. Apotheosis is still in but I stripped out world tiers entirely. Rare gear you find exploring, epic and mythic only drop from gateway waves.
Integrated Structures, Dungeons & Villages from Craisin Lord are in — and they fit the integrated theme of the pack. Everything belongs.
The Questbook covers every single mod. Not just "here's a quest to craft X" — each chapter has themed loot boxes and nothing is left unexplained.
It's not a sandbox like every other. There's a clear path, it just doesn't hold your hand too hard.
I also run an official server — that's why I care so much about balance. It's pretty active if you want to try modded multiplayer the way it's meant to be played.
