I built a terminal-based Minecraft launcher

McSH is a CLI Minecraft launcher I built for Windows.

No splash screen, no electron app, no bloat.

What it does:

– Create and manage instances from the terminal

– Search and install mods directly from Modrinth

– Import .mrpack modpacks with one command

– Full Microsoft auth (device code flow)

– Ships as a single MSI, adds mcsh to your PATH

The launcher itself uses under 30MB of RAM so the rest goes to the game.
