What do you think of a more subtle acacia wood colour?
I made a resourcepack that makes acacia wood less vibrant, but still orange. I also tried varying colours which looks nice for flooring but it's not as consistent with the rest of the woods. What do you think?
I really do think they missed a trick when they introduced wax into the game.
They absolutely should’ve added the ability to wax wood.
This should be the way to give more variations on colours to the woods and a more vibrant or darker shade to them.
It would not only be great for the likes of Acacia which you could have more muted then back to its bright orange with wax.
But it would be amazing for wood gradients.
Having say a waxed dark oak -> dark oak -> waxed spruce -> spruce gradient.
And all it would be a slight gradient adjustment.

I’d have to do some building with it but i think it looks nice! What i really love though is the second set with the variation of color in the wood??? OMG THATS BEAUTIFUL!!! So simple but WOW what a difference!!! Very excellent job on that!!!
