Perfection has no actual difficulty beyond the fishing and combat, it’s just a knowledge check. The game provides you with trackers for everything you need like what you’ve sold and crafted so if you play long enough you’ll get it. You can even buy perfection percentage from joja so you could get the perfection achievement without even engaging in the combat or fishing and just farming the whole time.

I made it… far? I think? I have no clue, because the game goes on longer than you’d think it would, for a game within a game. I don’t think I beat it but iirc I got through the first major boss.
It’s fun but *man* it gets difficult. I’m really impressed though with how much CA put into both games as standalone arcade experiences, even if they are infuriating as hell LOL

i’m so comically bad at prairie king it’s pathetic. during the cutscene where you play it with abigail i always die almost immediately. something about the controls is so unintuitive to me- i found junimo kart difficult but much easier in comparison to prairie king. but i’m hoping to 100% SDV on steam so i have to beat it and fector’s challenge someday 😢
