A no logic farm that is fully AFK. I'm not much of a builder but I tried to make this one pretty.

I designed this farm to deal with all the different spawns that clog up regular farms. Plant AI, friendly NPCs, dungeon traps, and the “immobile until aggro” mobs like mimics are all taken into account. Mobs that shoot through solid blocks have a teleportation system dedicated to them. No logic is used in the build so it can be made as soon as you get Pearlstone and the Mechanic.

This mob farm utilizes the Star Cloak and Cobalt Shield. Shield is just to keep you in place for teleportation and continued grinding. The cloak activates teal pads below when the player takes damage that triggers teleportation to a healing room for 5 seconds. The offending mobs despawn before you come back. A Stress Ball’s usage is encouraged as some mobs can get teleported with you. The teleporting is optional if you’d like to fight these mobs for the loot. These items and more are in the honey chest by the office desk (dresser).

The spawning platforms are 75 blocks long and all in the correct range. Volcano farms only use 39. This doesn’t speed up the farm as much as math would imply but the traps do. Keep in mind for farming speed: MOB DEATH>SPAWN RATE. The platforms “flicker“ to drop loot and mobs in the lava sitting on conveyors that drop in the center of the farm or wired chests. The boulder statues on the ends miss the platforms to hit the mobs cooking in lava and make the farm Legendary friendly – not efficient.

The biomes are controls by a “block key” on both sides of the farm that contain the last blocks needed for biome requirements. Hallow and evils are balanced for minimal interference but the rest of the biome blocks can be placed where ever. Underground Jungle and Ice biomes both take one extra block for the background to change. It wasn’t needed but I subtracted one block from the mass and then placed a total of two in opposing corners so they didn’t “bleed” past it’s intended column. The backgrounds of Hallow, Crimson, and Corruption do not show in the download map either but they pass the torch god test and spawn the appropriate mobs. While I’m on the background rant… Dungeon and Underground Desert don’t even have them as they are both based off unsafe walls.

The world file also includes my one stop fishing spot modified from the skyblock world named testblock. There is a teleporter with two labeled switches at spawn.

  2. This is absolutely mind blowing to me. I’ve spent 300+ hours building shoeboxes and digging, meanwhile this stuff is possible. I simply would not have the patience, haha!
