If you don’t want to build a gold farm, try mining for it in a badlands biome. They spawn more gold (in higher elevations) than other biomes. If you don’t have easy access to a badlands biome you could strip mine in other biomes at -16.

* Mine in the Nether for nether gold ore
* Kill zombified piglins, they can drop gold nuggets, or rarely gold ingots or equipment (equipment can be smelted into nuggets) when they die
* Set up a zombified piglin farm, which can generate massive amounts of gold relatively quickly, but need a lot of set-up

The best way is to make a gold farm, the easy way is to go into a cave and get gold, or get lucky while looting structures.

Silktouch gold ore in the nether and smelt it if you wanna be efficient with your mining haul.
Or build a Gold farm. Don’t even really need a super efficient one, just make a 5×3×5 box in the middle of nether wastes, make windows and swing away.

Gold farms take forever to set up so maybe just explore looking for bastions. Bridge and treasure are the easiest bastions to find gold in if you don’t know the specific gold spawning locations.

If you don’t want to build a gold farm, I’d say mine the Nether gold since it’s very common and mine it with a silk touch pickaxe,because if you smelt it it’ll give a full gold ingot instead of gold nugget
