(Axiom) Isn’t this like the physics mod pro situation? (Paying for a version of a mod with more content) You think Mojang will ask them to take it down?
If you don't remember physics mod had a paid "pro" tier on patron with more content. Mojang told them to take it down so they made it free.
You only need a commercial license when you are making money with minecraft/building
If you are on singleplayer, you will never need any kind of license.
If you are on a private server and just want to use it for fun, you can always get a 90 day free license. When it runs out, you get another one. The process takes you less than 2min and the validation less than a day.
According to Axioms own FAQ, they are entirely in the clear according to Mojangs EULA:
“No. Mojang has rules that you need to follow as outlined in the [Commercial Guidelines](https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/usage-guidelines) and Axiom follows all these rules.”
LimblessNick on
Yeah.
Am I understanding right you can’t even use the mod on a private server without contacting the dev? Absolutely not, get lost with that
