I'm using create mod/create craft & additions and immersive engineering (modpack: deceased craft) to generate mechanical energy to get electric energy using an alternator, the sender MV wire connector is recieving energy from the alternator, the MV wire coil gets the energy bc i get damaged by touching it, but the receiving MV wire connector is getting nothing from it, what am i doing wrong?

the connector is placed on the wrong spot on the metal press (the red dot is for redstone control), the connector should be placed on the top of the metal press
hey so… these red dots are always for redstone input! In IE usually the power input is above the multiblocks and has sort of a ‘golden’ like connector. For the press its always that uppermost spot
