People enjoy doing different things in mincraft, i don’t think there are any wrong answers.
It’s a sandbox after all. Dig a hole, make a sandcastle, eat the sand, put the sand in your pants and dance around, it’s all fun.

I’ve never been to a public restroom that looks like that! Where do these people live?
If you wanted to make it a public restroom, you could trap some villagers in the fenced area on the right, remove the farm, put some signs up, add a road coming in, put some cauldrens inside for hand basins.
However. I’d say it is a reasonable build based on how early game it looks like you are at and probably more of an effort than most people.
If you don’t like it, don’t tear it down. Build another house nearby.

It looks like the ones at beaches yeah. Like a public changing and shower room. It does look nice though, really it’s just the angled entrance that does it. Get the door facing forward so it doesn’t look like it has that privacy screen and you’re good. I think it also wouldn’t look as much like that if it weren’t right on a beach.

Ehm. As a player who likes building, there are few reasons why people call it restroom. One of them is it being kinda low and being in the beach. The rest doesn’t really look like it. You’ve already gotten some kind of plan, I loved it. Oh, and you may consider using one colored blocks for roof. Instead of high contrast blocks like deepslate and cobble together, you may use cobble, andesite and stone together or deeplsate’s variations together. So, your roof would probably look more appealing to most of the people with low contrast block palette. And you may consider adding some plants around or adding a little yard.
