It’s to big… and I’m gonna be honest with you… this house sucks…

You’re gonna need to make him a room not a whole castle. You just need a smaller space to assign him to with doors walls lights table chair at min

  3. Above your armor slots is a house icon. Click that, the the ? Icon, then the house. It will tell you if it’s valid or if there’s something wrong with it.

Right now, it seems too big. A staircase where the stone brick wall meets the wood wall on the left would fix that.

  4. Honestly, this house is so all over the place, even with a couple thousand hours in game i can’t tell you what’s wrong with it.

Best suggestion is to just open your menu, go to the villiager/housing view, and click the question mark, then click in various parts of the ‘house’ and it’ll tell you what’s wrong.

My guess is the building is actually being treated as multiple houses, and each one is missing something.

It seems the main room is absolutely massive so i imagine that’s part of it. Try putting a door on the left of the upper crafting benches and see if that helps

  5. Even if you find out the problem, remember that the Goblin doesnt like living on the surface.

  6. big for my taste and honestly, u could make it smaller or just add rooms so it doesn’t feel huge. a roof would do good

  7. I see the vision. Big builds usually look like crap until you have access to more block variety anyway

  8. It’s too fuggin bigg, housing icon will show at which point it’s too big. Use doors/tall gates or platforms to mark 1 room

  9. My guess is that the grass blocks are flagged as unsafe because they’re naturally generated

  10. For a first house it’s honestly very solid and aesthetically pleasing, I think rooms can be too big tho so you need platforms or doors to separate the big empty space into a few smaller spaces
