First day of fall year 2 on my farm, and I just found out that if you hold down the button when hoeing it selects multiple spots at once, makes planting so much faster!! Wish I knew about this sooner

Also if you put a walking path tile or any tile under the sprinklers, you can use the hoe on that area and it wont pick up the sprinkler!

Yeah I played this game for many hours without realizing you could do that with the hoe/watering can. I never upgraded the hoe because I didn’t see the point, I felt very silly when I figured it out haha.

The hoe and watering can both do that – bonus tip you can still move your character as they charge.
Helpful for not having to stop the charge to reset your position if you start it a little early, and it helps clear large areas quickly later in the game.

Also, it unlocks bunny hop farming. If you charge it up, you can move side to side and line up your next row. It doesn’t do anything, it’s just fun.
