Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share that I finally released History Stages 4.0.0.

For those who dont know the mod yet, History Stages is basically a tool for modpack creators to build deep progression systems. If u ever felt like mc modpacks need more structure or a real sense of "earning" your way through different eras, this might be for u.

Basically u can lock almost anything – items, recipes, dimensions, mobs, loot etc. – behind custom research-based stages.

What makes it different from other progression mods is how it actually feels in-game. Instead of just clicking a button in a menu, players have to bring Research Scrolls to a Research Pedestal and spend time researching to unlock the next era. Its a physical ritual that fits pretty much any modpack theme and makes every unlock feel way more rewarding.

Some of the main features:

– Global or Individual Stages: U can have the whole server progress together (great for coop) or let everyone do their own thing with individual stages.

– Lock pretty much everything: Items (even with NBT), entire mods, dimensions, mob spawning, and even block GUIs like chests or furnaces.

– NO CODING REQUIRED: Unlike GameStages and other mods where u need to write scripts, History Stages has a full In-Game Editor. U can build and tweak the whole stage setup directly in-game without touching a single config file or line of code.

– Integration: It has native support for FTB Quests, KubeJS and CraftTweaker if u still want to use them.

Version 4.0.0 has a lot of fixes and improvements to make everything run smoother. I put a lot of time into this and would love to hear what u guys think or what kind of packs ur building with it.
