Why are my chickens hungry despite having a full Silo?

You need to take hay from the hopper and put it on the feeding bench. Them taking food from the silo automatically is only a thing on a coop that’s been upgraded twice.

You don’t have an auto feeder yet (which you only get when your coop is fully upgraded) so you still need to manually take out hay from the hay hopper (next to the window in your image) and lay it out on the bench for them to eat

  3. It’s been a while since I last played so I may be mistaken, but you need to take the hay from the dispenser at the back of the room (directly ahead of you) & place it in the feeders to the right of it.

  4. Your pointer is on the feeding bench. Take hay and place it across that long flat thing. Also, for a slime hutch there will be square buckets you need to put water in to keep them fed. Place a sprinkler across that bad boy.

Unless you have the auto feeder, you will still have to manually put the hay on the feeders. The silo is just meant for storing your hay

This made me smile. I remember when I got confused about this too lmao!

  8. I made this mistake as well when i was new to the game. You need to put the hay on their feeding area manually and you need deluxe coop or barn for them to have an automatic feeder.
