looking back, path they carved for those who come along with their simple specs device, opportunity they gave for the community, features they offer that pioneered the wider customizability of resource pack. They may cannot compete stronger, their features may be turned into separate mod, or mojang themself implement them into the game. but optifine still deserve a special thanks for the goods they give in the past

I wanna add how whenever a new update came out, everyone would flock to the Discord obviously asking for when Optifine. The response was “poor single developer got too much work” which I never understood because you’re the one keeping it closed source blocking any contribution.
