Each row of casks finishes at the same time, one row after the other, all the way around the room. This way I don't have to waste the space in between each row. I can always get to the casks at the back when they're ready, because all the ones blocking it are also ready. I guess the only way I could maximize this more would be to put down every cask all at once, covering every square of the basement, and collecting them all at the same time as well. How do you guys manage your casks?

Am I misunderstanding or do you pickaxe them away every time you have to collect the cask bounty?

  2. I fill every spot except a few by the stairs, and once they are iridium quality, I get my hoe and press and hold to hit multiple casks at once. Takes little to no time once you have a fully upgraded hoe

I do this too, with the path filled in. I use an upgraded hoe instead of an axe because you can do a big chunk of them with just 2 hoe-hits (making up a word…)

    Edit: fixing typos 🤦🏼‍♀️

  4. Fully loaded basement can fit 189 casks. I load them with ancient fruit or star fruit wine, then in two months, I clear them out with the hoe.

I do the every square method- takes half a day once every 2 seasons. Set it and forget it!

I recommend filling the empty path with casks too since you’re already willing to require a pickaxe/hoe to remove each cask for every wine harvest. That’s how I do my casks, fill every single possible spot lol
