What does the shimmer do?
There is an aether pylon now which is acquired by throwing any pylon in the shimmer. (Which you can see him use during the video)
Prior to the recent update you always could have done the caverns pylon or jungle pylon to get to it.
So the pump is not necessary. Never was.
also, with the merchant, u can use the anvils he sells for infinite iron.
HOW DID I FIND IT:
step 1. right sea found
step 2. 200 blocks away from the beach
step 3. dig until u see the background turn in stars
boom
