Hello everyone. I’m playing bedrock, the latest version: 26.13.

I’ve build a mob grinder and everything gets filtered into a copper chest, where my copper golem will then take the stackable items that go in (flesh, bones, arrows, gunpowder, etc…) and place them in their individual organised chests.

Does anyone know how to use redstone to filter out the non stackable items like armour, tools and bows? I want to chuck the leather and bows but keep the metals, and I want to leave all of the stackables in the top copper chest so the golem can do its job.

I absolutely SUCK at redstone, and I’m at bedrock level too so it needs to be compact (the copper chest is 4 blocks above the void). I’ve tried searching on YouTube but I can’t find anything for this specific situation (copper/wooden chests keep getting mixed up). I’ve tried asking Google Gemini for it to be more specific but it’s just confusing as hell😭.

If anybody is able to please help me and explain step by step (as if you were talking to a noob who has never seen redstone before) how to do this, that would be amazing! Hopefully it’s possible in the game🤞🏼

  1. copper golems are go-to method to solve stuff like this in non redstone way

everything in copper chest can be taken by copper golem and copper golem will go through 10 other chests to see if something similar exists in them and will put them there if possible, so make bunch of stackable sorters so only non stackables end up in copper chest, so copper golem could have potential to sort 540 non stackable items present in chest
