you know what this is a good place to rant about this, i almost always go corruption. i randomly switch it up for one playthrough of calamity and what do you know, i need a corruption exclusive drop for an accessory😭

corruption has superior gear in pre-hm and thats all that matters because you can build a crimson biome in hm
