
Hello! I wanted to share a demonstration of one of the characters from a fighting game project I’m currently developing.
The gameplay and overall design are heavily inspired by Smite, with playable characters based on mythological creatures, gods, folklore, and heroes.
Core Gameplay:
Basic Attacks are triggered with Left Mouse Button
Abilities use keys 1, 2, 3, 4 to enter targeting mode, and Left Mouse Button to cast
Targeting can be canceled with Right Mouse Button
Crowd Control:
Basic Attacks and Abilities can be interrupted while casting them by Hard CC (Stun, Silence, Displacement like Knock Ups/Knock Backs, and Cripple for movement abilities, Morph)
They are NOT interrupted by Soft CC (Root, Time Dilation, Vortex)
Character Showcase – Oshun:
– A1: Fires a gust of wind that deals damage, slows enemies, and shatters mirrors for AoE damage
– A2: Spawns mirror deployables that fire beams in your direction, damaging enemies in their path
– A3: Knocks up and damages enemies on takeoff, then deals AoE damage on landing and triggers mirror beams
– A4 (Ultimate): Turns Oshun into gold, granting 30% damage mitigation. Each hit taken reduces her non-ultimate cooldowns by 1s
Her visual design is inspired by u/BrayArtz's design of Oshun as a concept art (i have his permission!). His twitter is "Brayartz".
